Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g flour, type 1050
  • 1 point yeast, dry
  • 125 ml water, lukewarm
  • 1 tbsp iodized salt
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 4 tbsp yogurt
  • Cumin, whole
  • sesame
  • Salt, iodized
  • Flour for rolling out the dough
  • Fat for the baking tray
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix the flour and dry yeast in a bowl. Sprinkle the salt around the edges. Add the eggs, water, yogurt, and honey to the flour and knead everything into a dough. Cover the dough and let it rise for about 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Knead the dough vigorously and form 4 balls with floured hands. Roll out the balls on a floured surface, then place them on a greased baking sheet. Brush the flatbreads with water, sprinkle with sesame seeds and/or cumin seeds, and a little salt. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
