Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 11 g salt
  • 15 g olive oil
  • 350 ml water, lukewarm
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 10 g sugar
  • 1 dash of oil for the bowl
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp natural yogurt
  • Sesame or black cumin

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

Mix flour, salt, olive oil, sugar, yeast, and lukewarm water to form a soft yeast dough. Knead for about 10 minutes. Then, using a paper towel, spread a splash of olive oil evenly in the bowl. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour. Place the dough on a floured work surface, shape it into 8 equal-sized rolls, and let them rise for another 20 minutes. Prick the rolls with a fork and brush with the mixture of 1 egg and 1 large spoonful of natural yogurt. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or black cumin seeds. Let it rise for another 5 minutes, then bake in a preheated oven at 250 degrees Celsius (480 degrees Fahrenheit) for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
