You can either make the dough in a bread maker by adding all the ingredients, starting with water, and then setting the dough function to “knead dough.” Without a bread maker, make the dough from the ingredients and let it rise. After about 40 minutes, remove the dough from the machine early, place it on a baking sheet, and press it into a flatbread. Cover and let it rise for another 20-30 minutes. Press the flatbread into the dough with your finger or the handle of a wooden spoon and bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for about 15 minutes. Tip: You can brush the flatbread with melted butter before baking.
