Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 110 g butter, soft
- 100 g sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 200 g flour
- ½ pack of baking powder
- 1 kg apples (sour), peeled, diced
- 100 g almond flakes
- 75 g butter
- 6 tbsp sweet cream
- 75 g sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
Apple pie with almond crust
Cream 110g butter until fluffy, add 100g sugar, and continue stirring. Stir in the egg. Sift the flour and baking powder into the batter and stir in. Mix the peeled, diced apples into the batter. Transfer everything to a 26cm springform pan lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the remaining butter, add the remaining sugar, the cream, and the flaked almonds. Bring to a boil briefly. Spread the mixture over the pre-baked cake. Bake for another 20 minutes at the same temperature, until the almond crust is a lovely medium brown.
