Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 125 g butter
  • 25 g cherry(s) (slicing cherries)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 6 tbsp cream
  • 200 g almonds, chopped
  • 50 g dark chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 32 minutes

Knead together flour, 50g sugar, vanilla sugar, egg whites, and 75g butter, then chill for 1 hour. Roll out the dough and cut out circles or squares. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and pre-bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 5 minutes. Chop the cherries. Melt 50g butter, 100g sugar, and honey in a saucepan. Stir in the cream and simmer for about 2 minutes. Add the cherries and almonds and simmer for another 3 minutes. Spoon the mixture onto the cookies and bake at 200°C for about 7 minutes. Let the cookies cool and decorate with melted chocolate coating. Makes about 25 cookies.
