Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ⅛ liter sweet cream
  • 125 g sugar
  • 50 g butter
  • 50 g candied orange peel
  • 50 g candied lemon peel
  • 175 g almonds (flaked almonds)
  • n. B. Wafers

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

In a saucepan, stir the cream with sugar, butter, candied orange peel, and candied lemon peel over low heat until smooth. Add the flaked almonds. Let the mixture cool. Place small heaps of the mixture on baking sheets and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Tip: Because it tastes so delicious, I recommend making double the batch, otherwise they’ll be gone too quickly.
