Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g sugar
  • 100 g honey
  • 100 g candied orange peel, lemon peel, cherries – there is also a ready-made mix for this
  • 100 g butter
  • 50 g flour
  • 150 ml cream
  • 200 g almond(s) (flakes)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Almond caramel cookies

Combine all ingredients, except the almonds, in a saucepan and bring to a boil while stirring. Once the mixture is creamy, stir in the flaked almonds. Let cool, and later (one day later), drop small teaspoonfuls onto the baking sheet. Make sure there’s enough space between them, as the cookies will spread. Bake/caramelize at 170°C (350°F) for about 10-12 minutes. I don’t dip them in chocolate, as I don’t want “chocolate fingers” because of the upholstery.
