Fluffy Vanilla Waffles
The perfect fluffy vanilla waffles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Mulled wine cherries
- 350 g Liquid butter
- 325 g Extra fine sugar
- 40 g Bourbon vanilla sugar
- 240 ml Water
- 500 g Sifted flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 Glasses Cherries
- 2 packet Red cake topping
- 2 bag Mulled wine spice
- Dry red wine
- Put the eggs in the bowl of a food processor and beat with the whisk for about 1 minute.
- Then add the melted butter and salt
- Mix in the sugar for 1 minute while stirring flat, then stir in the vanilla sugar and water and stir again for 1 minute.
- Add the flour little by little until the mixture is smooth and without lumps.
- Place the dough in the refrigerator for 10 minutes and then bake in the waffle iron
Mulled wine cherries
- Drain the cherries in a sieve, collecting the juice. Fill up with the wine to 600ml and heat in a saucepan with the bags of mulled wine spice (finished product. Looks like tea bags) for 10 minutes. Then remove the spice bags and prepare a cake topping according to the instructions on the packet. Mix in the cherries, place in a bowl and serve with the waffles and cream.
