Swedish national dish with bananas
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Cut the bacon and onion into thin strips. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, season with salt, and fry in a pan with oil until golden brown. Then briefly fry the bacon and onion and deglaze with the chicken stock. Reduce the heat and stir in the cream and crème fraîche. Season with garam masala, chili sauce, salt, and pepper. Clean the mushrooms, slice them, and fry them in a little oil. Allow any liquid to evaporate. Add the mushrooms to the chicken mixture, stir gently, and then pour everything into a baking dish. Now cut the bananas into 0.5 cm thick slices and arrange them over the chicken and mushroom mixture. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the casserole, scatter the peanuts on top, and return it to the oven for another 10 minutes. Serve with rice.
