Foccacia Also Called Cescentina.
The perfect foccacia also called cescentina. recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 bag Dry yeast
- 500 g Spelled flour
- 120 Milliliters Lukewarm water
- 3 tbsp Olive oil I took basil oil)
- 10 g Salt
- 1 tbsp Dried basil
- Mix the flour, yeast and salt. I also added dried basil. You can vary that as you want. Olives, tomatoes etc.
- Slowly pour in the lukewarm water while kneading.
- Then add the oil, knead really well for about 5 minutes. I have the basil according to the recipe from sternschnuppe.basillikumöl.
- Then cover and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- Knead well again. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 200C under heat.
- Roll out the foccacia 1cm thick and place on the baking paper. Let rise for another 15 minutes.
- Put the middle rack in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 – 20 minutes depending on the oven.
