Foods That Can Help Get Rid of Headaches Without Medication

Experts have identified 12 popular foods that can help get rid of migraines. A headache occurs at the most inconvenient moment and causes discomfort, but it can’t always be eliminated with pills. Scientists have conducted research and identified 12 foods that can prevent headaches.

The leaders in the fight against headaches are cabbage and spinach, as they contain a large amount of folic acid and magnesium. Chocolate and bananas are also rich in magnesium, so these foods will also help relieve the condition.

Foods with polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids are also needed to combat headaches. In this case, salmon is best suited. Avocado is also a good alternative.

Another useful product, according to experts, is mushrooms, a source of riboflavin, which is necessary in case of migraines.

Sweet potatoes contain beta-carotene, vitamins B2, B6, and group C, manganese, potassium, and niacin. All of them help reduce the inflammatory process. Beets have a similar effect. Experts also recommend paying attention to broccoli among vegetables.

As for coffee, it also helps with migraines. However, this drink should not be abused – the daily caffeine intake should not exceed 100 milligrams.
