Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 ½ liters of water
  • 3 tea bags (forest fruit)
  • 2 limes
  • 6 tbsp syrup (black currant syrup)
  • some ice cubes

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

the ideal low-calorie drink on hot summer days

Boil the water, steep the tea bags in it for about 8-10 minutes. Then let the tea cool. Halve the limes and squeeze the juice. Stir the limes and blackcurrant syrup into the cooled tea. Chill the tea in the refrigerator and serve with two ice cubes in each glass. A great alternative to store-bought iced teas, which tend to be very sugary. It’s a huge hit with us on hot summer days. Our guests love it, too. I always have one or two pots of it in the fridge during the summer.
