Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 60 g rice pudding
- 500 ml milk
- 2 tsp cane sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp cardamom, ground
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar or 1 vanilla pod
- 1 tsp rose water
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
aromatically spiced rice pudding
Bring the milk to a boil along with the rice, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, cinnamon, and cardamom. Immediately reduce the heat to low. Let it swell for about 90 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it reaches a soft, creamy consistency. Add a little more milk if necessary. Add the rose water at the end.
