Franconian cooked cheese

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g margarine
  • 1 pack of cheese (Harzer)
  • 150 g cream cheese spread
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Combine the margarine and the Harzer cheese, cut into chunks, with the melted cheese and caraway seeds in a saucepan. Gently bring to a boil, stirring constantly, reducing the heat if necessary. Once everything is dissolved and smooth, add the baking soda and mix. Finally, remove the pan from the heat and stir in the sour cream. Transfer to a bowl or several small bowls to cool.
