French apple pie

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 25 g sugar
  • 5 g salt
  • 5 cl water, cold
  • 1 kg apples
  • 90 g sugar
  • 1 cl milk
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 butter-vanilla flavoring

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix and knead the dough ingredients. Pour into a greased pan and chill for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Core and peel the apples, and cut them into eighths. Place them on the dough, sprinkle with 25g of sugar, and bake for 20 minutes. Mix the remaining sugar, milk, cream, eggs, and vanilla extract and pour over the apples and dough. Bake for a further 20 minutes. Note: This cake is best served warm as a dessert. It also tastes delicious cold.
