French cheese and herb bread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 wholemeal bread (wholemeal wheat bread)
  • 300 g Cheddar cheese
  • 250g mozzarella
  • 1 handful of parsley, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove(s), squeezed
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Hearty and rustic

First, melt the butter and mince the garlic. Mix the two together. Make deep cuts in the bread, both crosswise and lengthwise. Cut the cheddar and mozzarella into rectangles and place them evenly throughout the bread. Chop the parsley and sprinkle over the bread. Now pour the butter and garlic mixture over the bread. Season with salt and pepper. Bake at 200°C for 15-20 minutes.
