Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 4 slices of toast
- 300 ml milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp powdered sugar
- 1 pack of flavoring (vanilla)
- some clarified butter
- Cinnamon
- powdered sugar
- maple syrup
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cut the toast into triangles. In a casserole dish or large bowl, combine the milk with 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and the vanilla essence; mix well to create a light foam. Dip the toast into the milk mixture, turning after about 1/2 minute to coat it thoroughly on both sides. Heat a little clarified butter in a pan and add the toast slices. Fry until golden brown on both sides and dust with a little more cinnamon. To serve, dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with a little maple syrup. Serve with freshly cooked bacon.
