Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 slices of toast or bread slices
- 4 large eggs
- 5 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp, smothered cinnamon
- some sugar
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp fat, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
sweet version of French toast
Whisk the eggs in a deep plate with a fork. Add the milk, cinnamon, and a little sugar, if desired. Whisk everything together. Heat the fat in a pan. Dip the toast slices in the egg mixture on both sides. Then fry them in the pan until golden brown on both sides. Arrange on a plate, top with maple syrup, and serve.
