Fresh Fruits with Vanilla Cream

The perfect fresh fruits with vanilla cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Fresh strawberries
  • 1 Fresh nectarine
  • 2 tablespoon Cointreau
  • 150 ml Cream
  • 3 Egg yolk
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • 1 tablespoon Powdered sugar
  1. Wash the fruits and pat dry. Halve the strawberries and place in a bowl, quarter the nectarine, remove the seeds and then cut across into bite-sized pieces, mix with the strawberries and the Cointreau and place covered in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to steep.
  2. Mix the cream with the egg yolks, the pulp of the vanilla pod and the powdered sugar and whip in a warm water bath to form a lightly thickened cream.
  3. Fill the marinated fruits into dessert bowls, then serve with the fine vanilla cream and garnished with lemon balm leaves.
