Fresh Fruits with Vanilla Cream
The perfect fresh fruits with vanilla cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Fresh strawberries
- 1 Fresh nectarine
- 2 tablespoon Cointreau
- 150 ml Cream
- 3 Egg yolk
- 1 Vanilla pod
- 1 tablespoon Powdered sugar
- Wash the fruits and pat dry. Halve the strawberries and place in a bowl, quarter the nectarine, remove the seeds and then cut across into bite-sized pieces, mix with the strawberries and the Cointreau and place covered in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to steep.
- Mix the cream with the egg yolks, the pulp of the vanilla pod and the powdered sugar and whip in a warm water bath to form a lightly thickened cream.
- Fill the marinated fruits into dessert bowls, then serve with the fine vanilla cream and garnished with lemon balm leaves.
