Fresh raw vegetable wrap

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 tortilla wraps
  • 1 small head of lettuce, as desired
  • 1 large carrot(s)
  • 1 apple
  • some lemon juice
  • 200 g cottage cheese, grainy
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly oat flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the washed and spun-dry lettuce into strips. Peel and grate the carrot. Peel, quarter, and thinly slice the apple. Sprinkle the apple pieces with a little lemon juice to prevent discoloration. Briefly heat the tortilla wraps according to the package instructions; this will make them easier to roll up. First, spread the cottage cheese, not all the way to the edge, then season with salt and pepper. Distribute the carrot and apple on top (I also sprinkle oats and ground flaxseed or chopped walnuts on top, depending on my mood). Roll up the wraps and secure them with wax paper and kitchen string; this makes them easy to take to work.
