Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 0.7 liters of water
  • 1 small lemon(s)
  • 4 sprigs of fresh mint
  • 1 tbsp, heaped ginger, fresh
  • e.g. sugar or honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, bring the water to a boil. Meanwhile, thinly slice the lemon and ginger and place them in a teapot. Then remove the mint leaves from the stems and add them to the teapot as well. Pour boiling water over the ginger, lemon, and mint, let it steep for 10 minutes, and you’re done. If you like it sweet, you can add a little sugar or honey. To prevent the tea from becoming bitter, remove the solids after 10 to 20 minutes.
