Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 2 small onions
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 jar water
  • salt and pepper
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with pasta, meat, fish or as a dip

Peel the tomatoes, remove the blossom end, and dice them. Peel and dice the onions. Place them in a pot with the tomato paste, basil, and water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. It also tastes great as a dip when cooled!
