Fried chanterelles

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g chanterelles, fresh
  • 2 large onions
  • herbal salt
  • 4 stalks thyme, fresh
  • 2 tbsp butter

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

quick and easy cooking

Clean fresh chanterelles. Let them soak in clean water for a few minutes to draw out the liquid. Dice the onions and sauté in butter until translucent. Drain the chanterelles in a colander and add them to the pan. Cover the pan. Once the liquid has released, season with herb salt and thyme. Cover and simmer over low heat until tender. If desired, thicken the released liquid until neutral. Serve with baguette.
