Fried Chicory …
The perfect fried chicory … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 piston Chicory
- 40 g Branded butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 tablespoon Water
- 2 Pinches Salt
- Cut the vegetables in half lengthways and cut away some of the hard central wedge. It is no longer bitter today, but the vegetables cook faster without this firm wedge.
- Fry the butter with a pinch of salt and when it starts to brown, put the half cobs of chicory in with the cut surface facing down, fry for about 3 minutes until browned; then turn.
- Add the water, season with a little salt and a little bit of fondor, put a lid on and cook for another 3 minutes.
- Using a spoon, drizzle the bratsud that is in the pan over the flasks and serve the finely tart chicory vegetables.
