Prawns on Fried Chicory
The perfect prawns on fried chicory recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2,5 Pc. Chicory
- 25 Pc. Cocktail tomatoes
- 25 Pc. Shrimp peeled deveined
- 5 tbsp Olive oil
- 1,25 Pc. Lemons
- Salt and pepper
- Halve the chicory and remove the bitter kernel. Drizzle the halved flasks with lemon juice.
- Season with salt and pepper, fry on both sides in olive oil and keep warm in the oven.
- Fry the tomatoes and also keep them warm in the oven.
- Fry the “Provencal” prawns (are already seasoned) in olive oil for about 2-3 minutes on both sides.
- Arrange the chicory in a star shape on the plate, garnish with the tomatoes and spread the prawns on the chicory and drizzle with a little lemon juice.
