Prawns on Fried Chicory

The perfect prawns on fried chicory recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2,5 Pc. Chicory
  • 25 Pc. Cocktail tomatoes
  • 25 Pc. Shrimp peeled deveined
  • 5 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1,25 Pc. Lemons
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Halve the chicory and remove the bitter kernel. Drizzle the halved flasks with lemon juice.
  2. Season with salt and pepper, fry on both sides in olive oil and keep warm in the oven.
  3. Fry the tomatoes and also keep them warm in the oven.
  4. Fry the “Provencal” prawns (are already seasoned) in olive oil for about 2-3 minutes on both sides.
  5. Arrange the chicory in a star shape on the plate, garnish with the tomatoes and spread the prawns on the chicory and drizzle with a little lemon juice.
