Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Delicious and simple Brettschneider style
Toast the first two slices of mixed bread in a toaster for about 3-4 minutes. Meanwhile, fry the eggs in a pan with a little oil until they are fried (I assume everyone knows how). The eggs shouldn’t be turned, and you should pierce the yolk a little so that it firms up when cooked. Now keep the finished fried egg warm for a while. The first two slices of bread should now be toasted. Depending on their size, you can turn them over and put them back in the toaster, or remove them immediately and top them with the toaster. This is up to you. If you want to top the first two slices of bread, you should put the other two slices in the toaster. In the meantime, spread some butter on the still-warm toasted mixed bread. Depending on the size of the bread, add two slices of salami and then two slices of tomato per slice. Now arrange the cheese on top and place half of a fried egg on each slice of bread. Sprinkle with diced onions, if desired. Finally, top with ketchup if desired and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of curry powder per slice of bread. Repeat this process with the next slices of mixed bread once they’re toasted. Serve immediately.
