Fried Garlic Tomatoes Alla Francesca

The perfect fried garlic tomatoes alla francesca recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

To garnish:

  • 3 medium-sized Cloves of garlic, fresh
  • 2 Pinches Salt
  • 2 Pinches Black pepper, fresh from the mill
  • 2 Pinches Marjoram, dried
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • Parsley leaves, smooth, fresh or frozen
  • Flowers and leaves
  1. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stem, cut off both ends and cut the remainder into quarters. Sprinkle one side with salt, pepper and marjoram and fry for 3 minutes on both sides in a sufficiently large pan.
  2. Remove from the pan, remove the skin and place on a warmed serving plate.
  3. Cap the garlic at both ends, peel and squeeze with a garlic press. Fry in the remaining oil in the pan until light brown and distribute with the oil on the tomatoes. Garnish, serve warm as an antipasti or side dish and enjoy.
