Ingredients

Mustard and honey dip

  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp Liquid honey
  • Turkish yogurt
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill

Sesame chicken skewers

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 1 Egg
  • Sesame
  • Flour
  • Espelette pepper
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oil
  • Wooden skewers

fried tomatoes

  • 4 Beefsteak tomatoes
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

honey mustard Dip

  • Mix the honey and mustard well, now stir in enough yoghurt until the required intensity of the mustard is reached and then season with salt and pepper if necessary.

Sesame chicken skewers

  • Soak the wooden skewers for about 20 minutes. Cut the chicken breast into long and wide strips and skewer one strip each on a wooden skewer. Season this with salt, pepper and Espelette pepper.
  • Separate the egg. Beat the egg white in a shallow bowl until frothy (not stiff) and then fold in the egg yolks. First turn the chicken skewers in the flour, knock off the excess flour, then pull through the egg and turn in the sesame seeds (which is best placed on a flat plate).
  • Heat some olive oil in a pan and fry the skewers over medium heat until golden brown and then finish cooking in the oven preheated to 120 degrees.

fried tomatoes

  • Put 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a bowl and finely grate the two cloves of garlic and mix well. Cut the beefsteak tomatoes into approx. 1 cm thick slices. Heat a little olives in a pan and fry the tomato slices on both sides for about 3 minutes, brushing with the garlic-oil mixture.

finish

  • Fill the dip into small bowls and place on a plate, serve with the chicken skewers and also the fried tomatoes. Only now salt and pepper the tomatoes.
