Fried Grützwurst à la grandma

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 kg sausage (Grützwurst), fresh from the butcher
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • Clove powder
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 tbsp clarified butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel and slice the blood sausage, and dice the onions. Heat the clarified butter in a pan and fry the onions until translucent. Add the sausage and cook over medium heat until creamy. Season to taste. Serve with boiled potatoes and mustard pickles.
