Fried Maultaschen with tomatoes and goat cheese

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 9 Maultasche(n) filled with meat or vegetables
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 150 g goat’s cheese
  • 2 handfuls of cocktail tomatoes
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • some arugula

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the Maultaschen into strips and halve the cherry tomatoes. Fry the Maultaschen in a little oil in a pan until lightly browned. Add the halved tomatoes and fry briefly. Spread the goat’s cheese on the Maultaschen with a teaspoon, season with salt and pepper, and stir only once or twice. Serve on plates and garnish with washed arugula, if desired. Tip: Tastes best when the tomatoes are still juicy and the cheese has just warmed up a little. The dish can also be prepared in the same way with tortellini. In this case, add a splash of water to the pan and let the tortellini absorb it.
