Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g jacket potatoes from the previous day
  • 50 g onion(s), cut into strips
  • 150 g Munster cheese
  • 100 g Black Forest ham, sliced
  • salt and pepper
  • some oil for frying

Instructions

Slice the peeled potatoes. Fry the sliced ​​potatoes and onions in two nonstick frying pans with a little oil. Then shape each into a round rösti and brown the bottom side. Turn over, using a lid if necessary, and brown the other side. Meanwhile, fry the ham slices in a pan with a little oil until crispy. Spread the sliced ​​Munster cheese on the finished rösti and cover with a lid until the cheese has melted. Place the fried ham slices on top and serve. A green salad or lamb’s lettuce would go well with this.
