Fried potatoes with buttermilk

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes
  • oil
  • 1 cup buttermilk or kefir
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

great for hot days

Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, let cool, and then cut into equal-sized slices. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the potatoes until crispy. Serve the fried potatoes hot and pour the buttermilk or kefir over them just before serving. A super light meal for hot days.
