Fried potatoes with fried egg completely from the oven, without pre-cooking

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 700 g potatoes, waxy
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 6 eggs, size M
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 3 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 23 minutes

From raw potatoes

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Peel the potatoes and then cut them into wedges. Spread the oil on a baking sheet and add the wedges. Roast the potatoes in the oven for about 1 hour. Turn after 30 minutes. When the potatoes are crispy, crack the eggs between the potatoes. Serve as soon as the egg whites have set. Season with salt and pepper at the table.
