Fried Rice Balls
The perfect fried rice balls recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Cup Rice
- 2 cups Vegetable broth
- 1 Onion
- 1 spoon Butter
- Salt
- 2 Eggs
- Breadcrumbs
- 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- 1 bullet Mozzarella
- Peel the onion, dice it finely and sauté it in the butter until translucent, add rice and pour the stock, bring to the boil, and let it steep for 20 minutes in a closed saucepan over low heat.
- Let the rice cool, add 1 egg, Parmesan cheese and a pinch of salt and mix everything well.
- 1 Smash the egg in a bowl and place the breadcrumbs in another bowl.
- Cut the mozzarella into cubes.
- Now shape the rice into balls, press a cube of mozzarella into the middle, turn the rice balls first in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs and deep-fry in the deep fryer.
