Fried salmon with lemon crust

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 salmon fillets (frozen), thawed
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • Salt and pepper, white
  • some flour
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

simple and quick, yet very tasty salmon dish

Place the thawed salmon on a plate. Halve the lemon and drizzle the salmon on both sides with the juice of both halves. Season with salt and pepper, and coat with a little flour. Turn the fish over, season the other side with salt and pepper, and coat with flour. If desired, season both sides again and add more flour – this will thicken the crust a little and absorb the excess lemon juice. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the salmon on both sides. Depending on the thickness of the pieces and whether the salmon has already thawed completely, the fish will be cooked in about 6-12 minutes. Personally, I like to eat the salmon with herb butter rice (cook the rice as usual and then melt 1-2 packets of herb butter into it).
