Fried sausage crusts with crispbread

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g meat sausage
  • 10 g butter
  • 4 leaves lettuce, large
  • 2 beefsteak tomatoes
  • ½ box of cress
  • 8 slices of crispbread
  • 2 tsp margarine (half-fat margarine)
  • 1 tsp mustard

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Remove the sausage from its skin, halve it lengthwise, and cut it into matchstick-length sticks. Heat butter in a pan and fry the sausage until crispy and brown. Wash the lettuce leaves, pat dry with kitchen paper, and divide them between 4 plates. Place the crusts on top and garnish with tomato wedges and cress. Spread the crispbread with the low-fat margarine and mustard and serve separately.
