Potato pancake cheeseburger

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g potato pancake batter, homemade or ready-made product
  • 4 slices of soft cheese (Camembert, Brie or red rind cheese)
  • 2 tbsp cranberry compote
  • Oil, neutral, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

A slightly different cheeseburger, definitely not a diet food

Heat oil in a large pan and fry two potato pancakes from the potato pancake batter until crispy. Spread a tablespoon of cranberries on each potato pancake after turning it over and place the cheese slices on top. Sprinkle the remaining cranberries over the cheese and place the second potato pancake on top. Arrange the potato pancake burger on a warmed plate and serve immediately. The burger tastes even better with a well-chilled glass of white or pinot gris.
