Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 100 ml maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Tabasco
  • 1.2 kg spare ribs

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Heat the oil in a small saucepan. Sauté the thinly sliced ​​onion and crushed garlic until softened. Add the spices, syrup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup. Bring everything to a boil and simmer over low heat for 2 minutes. Rinse the spare ribs with cold water and pat dry. Place them in the solid cooking container and pour the sauce over them. Cook at 170-180°C (fan/steam) for about 60 minutes. Serve with crispy potatoes. 750 kcal per serving.
