  • 100 g dark chocolate coating, chopped
  • 20 g palm fat (e.g. Palmin)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

makes about 18 pieces

Prepare 9 wooden or plastic sticks for the ice cream. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Peel each banana and cut into 6 equal pieces. Halve the sticks for the ice cream. Carefully push each stick half into a banana piece. Place the chocolate coating and vegetable shortening in a heatproof bowl. Melt in a double boiler and stir until smooth. Dip the banana pieces, one at a time, into the hot chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off. Place the pieces on the baking sheet and place in the refrigerator until everything has set. Then place in an airtight container in the freezer for at least 2 hours. Note: The frozen banana bites should be made and eaten the same day.
