Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 5 eggs
- 250 g sugar
- 250 g flour
- ½ pack of baking powder
- 250 g butter, melted
- 1,500 g strawberries or other fruit
- 3 bags of cake glaze
- 6 tbsp sugar
- ¾ liter of water OR:
- 250 ml syrup (strawberry syrup) and
- ½ liter of water

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Super easy, super tasty and can be baked 1 day in advance
Melt the butter in the microwave and let it cool. Beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy, mix the flour with the baking powder and fold in. Pour the melted butter into the mixture and stir in as you go. Pour onto a greased baking tray and bake at 200°C for approx. 15-20 minutes. Let it cool on the tray; the base can now stand until the next day. If you like, you can place a baking frame on the cake base, but it’s not necessary. Chop the strawberries and spread them on the base. Prepare the glaze and pour over the strawberries. If the strawberries don’t taste that fruity yet, I like to use strawberry syrup and water (without sugar, of course) for the glaze.
