Fruit casserole with nut crumble

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g spelt
  • 50 g corn semolina
  • 60 g nuts
  • 1 tsp vanilla, ground
  • 1 lemon(s), the peel
  • 80 g butter
  • Honey, to taste
  • 400 g apples, sour
  • 4 bananas

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Finely grind the spelt and mix it with the cornmeal and finely chopped nuts. Add the grated lemon zest, vanilla, melted butter, and honey, and process everything into a crumbly mixture. Coarsely grate the apples and mix them into the crumble. Slice the bananas, mix them in, and transfer everything to a buttered baking dish. Sprinkle some nut flakes on top and bake the casserole at 200°C for 30-40 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
