Schnitzel with minced meat and onion topping in cream sauce

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 600 g roast pork (Lummerbraten)
  • 400 g minced meat, half/half
  • 6 large onions
  • 200 g herb butter
  • 400 ml sweet cream
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the lobster roast into thin schnitzels, season with salt and pepper, and place in a baking dish. Top each schnitzel with a layer of minced meat. Dice the onions and place them on top of the minced meat. Gently press the diced onions down to prevent them from falling off. Slice the herb butter and place them on top of the onions. Then pour the cream over the topped schnitzels and place the baking dish in the oven at 170 degrees Celsius for about 30-40 minutes.
