Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 250 g oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 125 g prunes
  • 125 g apricot(s), dried
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 0.2 tsp baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Heat the butter and stir in the rolled oats. Cut the apricots and prunes into small cubes. Whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, and baking powder. Add the apricots, prunes, and rolled oats, mix well, and place small heaps of them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper using 2 teaspoons. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking paper, otherwise they will fall apart. The macarons will be very soft at first, but will firm up as they become firmer.
