Fruity rice curry

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 bags of rice
  • Salt
  • 600 g turkey schnitzel
  • 1 can of mandarin oranges
  • 1 can pineapple, in pieces
  • 20 g butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • Pepper, white
  • Parsley, for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Rice with turkey schnitzel and fruit

Cook rice in a boil-in-the-bag according to the instructions and drain. Cut the meat into strips. Drain the fruit. Reserve the pineapple juice. Heat fat in a pan and brown the meat. Sprinkle with curry powder and braise thoroughly. Add the fruit and rice and heat through. Season with salt, pepper, curry powder, and a little pineapple juice, then garnish with parsley.
