  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice

For the cream:

  • 100 g Wheat semolina
  • 1 packet Vanilla powder
  • 1 l Milk
  • 4 Pc. Eggs
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Soft butter

Finally:

  • Soft butter
  • 700 g Puff pastry

For the syrup:

  1. Boil the sugar with water and simmer until it has dissolved. Then add the cinnamon and lemon juice. Let the syrup cool down.

For the cream:

  1. Bring the milk to the boil in a saucepan while stirring, add the semolina and vanilla powder. Mix eggs with sugar and melted butter and stir into the semolina mixture.
  2. Brush a baking dish with soft butter, put half of the puff pastry in it, spread the cream on top and cover with the remaining puff pastry.
  3. Sprinkle with a little water and bake at 180 ° C on the bottom rack for about 30 minutes until golden.
