Ingredients
Ravani
- 4 Eggs
- 200 g Sugar
- 175 ml Oil
- 200 g Semolina
- 200 g Flour

syrup
- 200 ml Water
- 200 g Sugar
- 0,5 Lemon
vanilla icecream
- 500 ml Cream
- 500 ml Milk
- 0,5 Vanilla pod
- 2 Eggs
- 4 Egg yolk
- 200 g Sugar
- 200 ml Fig syrup
Instructions
Ravani
- For the ravani, beat the eggs until frothy, sprinkle with sugar. Add the oil with a dash of water and then turn the mixer back on. Briefly stir in the flour and semolina.
- Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle with semolina. Pour in the dough and bake at 180 ° C for 30 minutes.
syrup
- For the syrup, put the water, sugar and juice and the zest of half a lemon in a saucepan and cook for 5 minutes. Pour the hot syrup over the cooled cake. Cut or cut into squares, diamonds or circles.
vanilla icecream
- For the vanilla ice cream, bring the cream and milk with the vanilla pod to the boil.
- 2 Stir whole eggs and 4 egg yolks until foamy, sprinkling in the sugar. Pour the egg and sugar mixture into the saucepan with the cream and vanilla milk. Bring to the boil and remove from the hob as soon as it becomes frothy.
