Garlic Bread
The perfect garlic bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 8 Ciabatta slices, approx. 2 cm thick
- 2 small Garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 25 g Butter at room temperature
- 30 g Parmesan
- 30 g Gouda cheese
- 1 tsp Rosemary chopped, fresh or dried
- 1 tsp Thyme leaves, fresh or dried
- Salt, pepper
- Peel the garlic, chop very finely. In the case of fresh herbs, pluck the needles from the rosemary and finely chop them, and from the thyme, strip off the leaves.
- Finely grate both types of cheese and mix well together with butter and oil in a bowl. Then add the garlic and herbs, mix everything together well, season with salt and pepper and spread evenly on all 8 slices.
- On the grill, they should be roasted on a mat. Depending on the grill, this only takes a few minutes, i.e. you have to keep an eye on them and decide for yourself how crispy they should be. The preparation in the oven is similar. The temperature here should be approx. 200 – 220 ° O / bottom heat.

Regarding cheese, it should be said that with the prescribed 60 g you can take whatever you like. The spicier the cheese, the more intense the taste after grilling.
