Chicory Salad with Garlic Bread

The perfect chicory salad with garlic bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Garlic clove crushed
  • 2 tbsp Soft butter
  • 4 Baguette rolls
  • 2 pink Grapefruit
  • 4 tbsp Roasted almond flakes
  • 200 g Lowfat quark
  • 300 g Chicory
  • Salt, pepper, paprika
  1. Mix the garlic with the butter. Salt and pepper. Brush the rolls with the garlic butter.
  2. Loosen the grapefruits from the pulp, collecting the juice. Roast the almond flakes until golden brown. Let cool down a little, then mix with the quark and juice. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika.
  3. Wash the chicory, cut out the stalk and cut into strips. Mix the chicory with the grapefruit and pour over the dressing. Eat the rolls with it.
