Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 bulb(s) of garlic, Chinese or 2 cloves of garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • chives
  • Parsley

Instructions

Whip the cream until stiff. Mix the crème fraîche and cream cheese thoroughly. Crush the garlic and add it along with the salt, pepper, and herbs, and stir in. Then fold in the cream. It’s best to let it sit in the refrigerator for a few hours and then season again with salt and pepper. It goes perfectly with grilled meat or as a dip for vegetable sticks and snacks. The version described here is quite filling; all of the ingredients can be replaced with low-fat versions; just make sure that the reduced-fat cream can also be whipped to stiff peaks.
