- 1.2 kg feta cheese (can also be made from cow’s milk)
- 400 g sour cream or crème fraîche
- ½ bulb(s) garlic
- pepper
- Salt only if the feta is very mild
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 20 minutes
Spread, dip, barbecue sauce, etc.
Chop the feta as finely as possible, e.g., in a food processor with a cleaver. Finely chop the garlic. Mix both thoroughly with the sour cream, season to taste, and let it marinate – ideally overnight. Delicious with grilled food, as a dip for vegetables and snacks, or simply on bread.
